I came home when I entered this south side restaurant. No where in Des Moines could I find the authentic flavors that I grew up with until my friend told me about Fat Tuesday and my first visit, I walked in on Live Blues Music. Not only was the food fantastic but the music just sent me back home. My favorite is the Red Beans & Rice, but I absolutely love the Po' Boy Sandwiches!!!! Yummmmyyyyy....I would recommend this place to anyone, it;s well work the trip to the south side. Great prices and I always walk (well they need a wheel barrow) to get me to leave...I'm so full of my favorites, whew!!!!
