My colleagues and I have been frequenting Zorba's for quite some time. Today, we arrived in advance of the lunch rush with a moderate sized bunch. The staff seemed entirely put upon to arrange tables to accommodate us.
Overall, the service was horrifying and literally sloppy. Meals were not served in a uniform fashion, items were omitted all together, and silverware was dropped on to the lap of a patron.
The coup de grace was being scolded by our server, as we were not returning answers to her questions in a rapid enough fashion. Most of us were simply stunned by being barked at.
Again...this group has been a loyal lunch bunch for some time. Sadly...today was our last visit. It is one thing to have a bad day (operationally). It is another to make the patrons suffer for it.
