How do they do it? In part by some neglect of facility maintenance, by running movies which I would call ""second run"" (contrary to the listed info), and by limiting the selections mainly to mass-appeal movies. This also demonstrates how much of a movie theater's revenue can be generated by the sale of concessions.\r
Parking is very convenient and always available reasonably close to the theater.\r
In summary, not the place to impress a date (favorably), but an unbeatable value.
Pros: Bargain admission at all times, convenient & close parking
Cons: Some neglect of maintenance; second-run movies; mostly limited to mass-appeal movies
