For anyone looking for a wonderful chiropractor that is kind, compassionate, caring and has the ""gift of healing hands"" like that of an angel, I highly recommend Dr. Boles. That only scratches the surface, in my opinion, of Dr. Boles' character and abilities. I have been to other chiropractors in the past, but this lady is truly amazing. My recommendation is to try chiropractic over medical, unless your situation is emergent. I was just diagnosed with osteoarthritis and degenerative joint disease of the left hip, and the first thing the othopedic doctor recommended was to either replace my hip and/or give me a cortisone shot, along with those nasty NSAIDs which provide you an automatic ulcer i.e., Alleve, Ibuprofen, etc. At first Dr. Boles was reluctant to treat me, concerned that I may have fractures, so she asked me to procure a signed letter from my primary physician that it was okay to treat, after being seen by an orothpedic doc to rule out fractures, etc. I persisted with trying to get in to Dr. Boles for treatment and did everything she asked me to do to rule out fractures, etc. After just seven treatments (or adjustments, I guess) with Dr. Boles, my pain is subsiding, I am able to walk, still with some difficulty, but without a cane, and, which is a concern for many of us, my dollar outlay will be a fraction of a hip replacement, plus I will have permanent results without going through painful, drawn-out physical therapy from a hip joint replacement, assuming it's not botched up and that it works. I have had other ""repairs"" like my right rotator cuff that did not have a good outcome and have heard of and seen many other folks getting ""butchered,"" if you will. Physicians never advertise that. Anyway, the office staff is also wonderful and very helpful and prompt. If anyone has any doubts about chiropractic and/or Dr. Boles and would like to talk with me directly, please contact Dr. Boles' office and tell them you would like Dave W's contact information. Jenny will know who it is and give you my telephone number. This is all 100% unsolicited. I am writing this based on my observations and results alone. I'm just so happy with my results I am sharing this only because I would love to see others have the great relief I have and regain their health also. If she can help me I know she can help you. (Dr. Boles asked me if I played professional sports after viewing my x-rays, as, apparently, I was a train wreck.) God bless and good health to all. And remember, it's your body, not the surgeon's. Take care of it. It's your choice. Dave W.
