Ten years ago, I moved to Florida, not thinking that I could miss a restaurant more than I miss most of my friends. I'd find one to replace it, right? WRONG!!! I dream of Los Cerros! Their Chile Verde Burrito is unlike any other. Here in Tampa, they have no idea what it even is! Chunks of pork that melt in your mouth, dripping with the spicy, delicious green sauce that has the consistancy of the best gravy, then wrapped in a soft flour tortilla ... brings a tear to my eye just thinking about it! Personally, I request mine without rice or any other filling. The savory pork and sauce is all I need! The chicken burrito is outstanding, too! Miss that, too! In fact, there isn't anything that I DON'T miss. The price is always right and the portions are perfect because you can save a little for later. I love this restaurant and can't wait to take a trip home. \r

FYI: There is NO Mexican food in Tampa. Only fast food style franchises and Cuban food (which is OK but is NOT Mexican!) pretending to be Mexican. Can I talk the owners of Los Cerros into opening up down here??? Tijuana Flats is popular down here, need I say more?
