I took my Honda accord for an oil change and to diagnose a whining noise. I said I had read that it might be a bearing, and the service specialist said, "" I don't think thats right."" I said that the whining sounds like it may be from the transmission. The service specialists said they would road test it. When I picked my car up they said that they had road tested it and could not find anything. That they, he and the mechanic ,had worked for a half hour trying to find it. I really find this hard to believe, as I decided to take the car to another mechanic. The minute he drove the car he knew that it was a bearing. I find it amazing that a mechanic drove the car and did not know that a bearing was bad. I am really disappointed with the Honda service center as I have had my car serviced there for 10 years. I drove this car to Fl, and had asked them to check it out before we went, it was not found at that time either. The service team missed out on a job that would have been a nice dollar for them. For me, I will never go there again.
