Review content:
I was feeling sick and looking for a place all over Ithaca for some soup. Mama T's was the only place that had soup on the menu. I called up and spoke with a man who assured me that the soup was homemade after I asked him. On the menu it states that there is New England Clam Chowder, Chicken Rice, Chicken Noodle, and Minestrone. When I asked him what soups there are he did not include chicken noodle on the list. But I asked, do you have chicken noodle? ....oh Yes, we do! (strange...) I do not eat canned soup and regardless, I would not pay $3 per for canned soup I could make for pennies. I ordered 2 chicken noodles and 1 chicken rice. Needless to say, the soup arrived and was clearly canned, with the Campbell's noodles and cubed chicken. I refused to eat it but my boyfriend ate one and confirmed that it was canned and disgustingly salty. I would have rather had ramen and saved some money! I called Mama T's back and they gave me a hard time and refused to admit that it was canned. Ultimately, I was given a $5 credit for the $11 I spent on trash, but I do not intend to ever eat there again. I had problems w/ orders before in Ithaca and never was I given a problem to make good on it until Mama T's.
Pros: Sent spoons when I asked for them, packaged soup well
Cons: Falsely described food, not willing to make good
