Review content:
After hearing such rave reviews on this restaurant, I begged my fiance to go. It was the first & LAST time-the menu choices were sparse and strange (you'd have to be a ritzy health food nut to appreciate the choice of food) the prices for what we ended up eating were outrageous - we ended up leaving with both empty stomachs and empty pockets! The only good thing about Inn of the Seventh Ray was the ambience. It was truly romantic, though there weren't any booths, only tables. The lighting & decoration was, even on a rainy night, very beautiful. To go for a glass of wine with the one you love, this place is nice- however, I don't recommend it if you're looking for romance AND a satisfying meal. I was embarrassed to say the least after having begged my fiance incessantly, only to discover it wasn't ALL THAT.
Pros: ambience, location
Cons: food quantity, pricey, food choice
