The Sage Cottage Restaurant in Adairesville is truly a hidden gem along the I-75 corridor in north Georgia. Just a little ways away from Exit 306 this restaurant is worth the side trip for lunch any day of the week. Dinner hours vary at different times of the year with summer time hours for dinner being after 5pm on Friday and Saturday. The interior atmosphere is warm and friendly with a beautifully decorated entry way, white table clothes, comfy cushioned chairs, and elegant cloth napkins. Dress is casual. Both the lunch and dinner menus have a wide variety and something for everyone. The home made dressings and soups were wonderful. The Cream of Mushroom soup, favorite of mine, was exceptionally good. My wife enjoyed the steak diane which is very hard to find at restaurants today. I had the prime rib which was cooked perfect, and very tender. Side items we had were green beans and a twice baked potatoe, another delecacy that is rare in this day and age of chain restaurants. If your tired of chain restaurants like me this place is worth a drive just to have a wonderful meal. Call ahead for hours especially for dinner. Pros: Wonderful atmosphere, great menu, superior service Cons: dinner hours on Friday and Saturday only
