Review content:
Kai Sushi is one of those places you walk by everyday and wonder about. Well, three years ago, I stopped wondering and decided to give it a shot. I have been to hundreds of sushi spots in the Southern California area and NOTHING, comes close to Kai Sushi. The owner, Ted, creates several of the rolls available at this establishment and he creates them using fresh, clean, and delicious fish of all kind. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming as is the staff and Ted himself. I HIGHLY recommend the Seared Garlic Yellow tail. The taste is beyond words. The garlic is not overpowering but it makes itself known. The sauce drizzled over the yellow tail adds a tangy kick that compliments the dish in such a way that, when I leave, I make sure it was the last thing I ate so I can continue to taste it after the meal. If you are a fan of the rolls, I would suggest the Kai creation, the SLUR Roll, topped with seared salmon and a variety of sauces that make it a dish even people who don't like fish, can eat with a smile. These are just two of my favorites. NOTHING I have had there has been less than spectacular. Do yourself a favor and visit your new favorite sushi spot. My mother hated fish, now we have dinner at Kai once a month at her request. Enjoy!
