Review content:
Get the price BEFORE you sit in the chair. You may have to request it but make sure you find out how much its going to cost, even if you have good dental insurance. They've doubled in price in the last few years and that isn't advertised and can be quite surprising when you're at the register. \r
Have in mind what you want done or you'll leave there with an estimate for thousands of dollars worth of work you didn't think you needed. This dentist is a little too proactive for me. I agree problems should be dealt with BEFORE they become dental emergencies, but Dr. Kincaid doesn't believe in watching anything to see if it will become a problem. I've gone to a dentist who said my teeth are fine but then find out I need thousands of dollars of work through Dr Kincaid just a few months later. \r
The staff is competent though don't expect to get any ""warm fuzzy"" feelings from them. Dr Kincaid is a good dentist, technically speaking, but I would only recommend him to someone with which money is no object. He is the most expensive dentist I have found in New Bern, even with insurance I've paid twice as much as I have with other local dentists.
