Review content:
I lived in Cedar Court apartments for almost four years and would recommend to anybody to NEVER LIVE HERE and to NEVER RENT FROM DOBLER MANAGEMENT. I was always on time or early with my rent, only ever had one maintenance request (when I moved in the closet to the laundry didn't have a handle and sometimes that was difficult to open) and still got dicked around. I was called by the apartment manager one day and accused of not paying my rent, when they found my rent check he later called back and accused me of turning it in after they called. I had turned it in to the box TWO DAYS EARLIER. I was told that I was not allowed to have anything on my deck (including flowers) yet see a lot of other apartments in the community with flowers, even porch furniture on their decks. I was almost towed once because I parked in ""another apartment complex"". It was an uncovered, non-reserved stall and I could see it from my apartment. Apparently, something I was never informed of, you can't cross the alley to Alder Court Apartments (yes similar name because they are both owned by DOBLER MANAGEMENTS) and park or else you may be towed. Upon trying to move out, nobody would acknowledge receipt (I handed in a hard copy as well as emailed a version to the front desk and to corporate) of my written intent to vacate. I was told that I could only do a final walk through Monday to Friday 9-6. I have a job where I work those exact hours. Cedar Court apartments and Dobler Management just want to steal your money and pretend that YOU aren't following any of the rules when THEY are the ones breaking the rules. It is horrible management, the worst experience I've ever had in my 13 years of renting. You may wonder why I stayed? I liked the size of my bedroom and was saving up to buy my first home. AND - my boyfriend's catalytic converter got stolen out of his truck when he was just there for a few hours. First time that truck had ever been there.
