i moved to hoffman estates from Ohio and was searching for a femaile obgyn. I had BCBS PPO at the time of appointment. I was made to wait for more than 45 minutes. The office manager did not know how to control the patients in the waiting room since there were ultrasounds going on also. When asked what was the dealy because doctor was on hospital rounds. I controlled my temper. After i was roomed I was waiting there for another 15 mintues, when the doctor came in she was in ahurry, not attentive to my problems. just read my previous records and asked me to schedule an ultrasound and then surgery. I was shocked i only went there for a pap and i was told to go for a surgery. \r

I lefvt and went to another doctor for 2nd opinion, the doctor told me that the surgery was not necessary at all. Probably Dr sheri merchant wanted to make big time money by cutting me up. i have told all my friends about this and caution everyone who goes to see her to be careful and not fall for her dishonest ways, Better still go to another doctor
Pros: only wnats your money
Cons: long waiting time, office manager did not know what she was
