I visited Johnny Rocket on 1st ave this week with friends and liked the ambiance the best. You feel like you're stepping back in time to the ""sock-hop"" era of the '60s.\r
The problem was the service. We went upstairs to the lounge and were the only customers there. The waiter was friendly, but he did not serve us our drink orders for 10 minutes (maybe longer). We finally received our food order after a longer wait.\r
I ordered a chili dog and it was average at best. The orders of onion rings and fries my friends received were pretty stingy.\r
I was disappointed, but I would probably go back, if just for the ambiance.\r
