Review content:
We have shopped at Music Go Round a number of times even though in many cases their prices are a little higher than what we could get comparable merchandise for online because we would rather give our business to a local store. My husband went to purchase an amo for an electronic drum set as a Christmas gift for our son. He explained what he wanted and they sold him an amp. While visiting another local music store he discovered that the amp they sold us was for keyboards, and ended up purchasing a drum amp from them. When we took it back we were told that we could only get the full amount back as a store credit and that there would be a 15% restocking fee to give us the credit back on our card. My husband said he would be willing to take the 15% as a store credit and that in fact there were some things we would like to buy that day, but the manager was unwilling to discuss. As a result it cost us $30 and cost Music Go Round a customer because we will never shop there again. Before writing this review we tried contacting Music Go Round directly to resolve the issue, but they have ignored our emails. I can't believe that in the current economic environment any store can operate this way.
Cons: 15% restocking fee on all returns, even when they sell you the wrong item
