Custom Metal Design LLC is the perfect example of what gives contractors a bad name.\r

Clayton Squire of Custom Metals Design gladly took my $1,000 deposit to install a metal staircase railing in October, 2009, however, after getting the check. I never heard from him again. He refused to return any phone calls and a certified letter requesting the return of my deposit. \r

I have a safety issue going on since the metal railing is for a steep outdoor staircase of 20 steps. With all the snow and ice, the missing railing is a major concern.\r

I need the deposit back to enlist the help of another contractor. However, Custom Metal Design refuses to return my check. I have now issued a complaint with the Better Business Bureua and will seek legal follow up.\r

Do NOT do business with Clayton Squire or Custom Metal Design LLC of Denville, NJ if you expect more than a scam and con artist to steal your money.
