We will NEVER NEVER return to this restaurant again. My wife and I went on Saturday 17th 2009 about 1pm to the Fuquay Varina restaurant. We both ordered a small salad and 2 slice of PEPPERONI pizza each. We waited about 10 minutes for our salad, the server told us there was a fresh pizza being made. The salads were good and fresh. After eating the salad my wife told me she saw the waiter putting pepperoni on 4 slices of cheese pizza that had come out from the heat lamp. I turn and watch him put those slices, on a paper plate, in the bottom level of the pizza oven. After about 4 minutes the server took them out and brought them to our table. Needless to say the pizza slices were as hard as a brick. The server had walked away and my wife had put Parmesan cheese on hers and I was still trying to break my pizza slice to fold it. The waiter came back and asked if every thing was okay. I asked him how many times has this pizza been cooked. He stated once, but he put pepperoni on it and put it back in the oven. I told him I was DONE I did not want the pizza, I would pay for my salad and leave. At the counter paying for my salads and drink, the lady asked me what seemed to be the problem. I told her that my pizza was as hard as a brick and had been cooked twice. She stated ""it is a little over done but it is not to bad"", never getting a apology. While talking with the lady, the server took my wife's slices of pizza and slid them off her plate and back under the heat lamp. I asked the lady behind the cash register ""DID HE JUST DO WHAT I THINK HE DID"" and she asked the waiter did he just do that and he stated ""YES"" She told him ?no you throw that away and that is disgusting? and she looked back at my wife and I and told us that ""We are normally not like this"" Being the first time I had ever been in there ""and the last"" Leaving there never did I receive an apology. We paid the bill and left.If this is how they treat people in NewYork take it back there don't want it. \r Cons: recooked pizza
