I am one of those kids you hate at shows. I am a ""hardcore"" dancer, and this place is definitely dancer friendly. Nice security, they only get involved when there is a fight. The floors are fantastic. Very gym like, wood and springy. Cheap cover for most shows, unless shows are moved there from bigger places like the Gothic or Cervantes. They also have the best pizza in the city and $3 a slice for pep or cheese isn't bad at all. totally worth it. Definitely my favorite venue and since I am moving soon, I will miss it for sure. Thanks Marquis, you've been a good friend. Pros: Cover, nice security, best pizza in metro, great floor for groovin' Cons: expensive water (expected for a venue)
