The most terrible facility I have ever been to!\r
My father was there for 2 nights 3 days (TOO LONG!). The place is filthy, scary! There was some kind of splatter on the wall behind the bed. A rim of old, dirty filth around the toilet. The room was HOT (obviously they didn't have the air running). The smell was terrible. They must not have enough personnel to care for all the patients and maintain the place properly. The hallways are full of ambulating people not being taken care of, bothering other patients trying to rehabilitate; some of them yelling and screaming down the halls and in their rooms. Sounded like they were being tortured! It looked more like a mismanaged mad house!! \r
The people working there look very unhappy and most of the ones I dealt with seemed insensitive, uncaring, and unfriendly. Almost made you afraid to even ask for anything. We had to pressure my dad's doctor to release so we could take him home and care for him there. We were afraid he would end up worse, catch an infection, pneumonia, or possibly die if he continued to stay at this awful place. My mom saw a couple of workers sneeze without even covering their mouth! \r
It took many hours for them to process the exiting paperwork and at the end they did not even help him out. My sister had to put him on a wheel chair and roll him out through a side door because they had their main entrance blocked. She had to take him through the rain and NOBODY NOBODY ever offered to help her along the way, even to open the heavy side door or to collect the wheel chair from the outside. Just terrible, terrible!\r
\r
If you care about your family and loved ones keep them away from this place!!!
