Review content:
When it came time for our eye checkups we searched the papers to see what good values were out there, we saw Opti Express’s add it seemed fair enough, free eye exam, 100s’ of frames to choose from, all for $79.00. After our eye exam we were directed to the show room floor to choose our frames, the selection was fine I spent about twenty minutes and found the one I liked, I handed it to the eyeglass tech and she started to do some calculating and gave me a price more than twice the advertized priced. When I inquired as to why I was told this was the price for the frame I choose, I then asked about the advertized prices and was told those are different frames that are “not” on display! And I thought used car dealers were bad. Well out of principle I went with the lesser cost and left unsatisfied. There is a law for bait and switch that protects the public, but the costs and time our more than it’s worth. Next time we need glasses I will call the store in advance to nail down any potential problems in the future.
