Review content:
We bought our Talbitzer townhome about one year ago and were told at the time of purchase that we were to keep track of any problems. After the one year mark, we were to present our complaints to the builder and repairs would be made. Talbitzer did listen to our concerns and agreed to do some repairs. The worker sent out to fix our squeaky floors and bowed window was very helpful. However, we had one serious complaint that they refused to remedy. About six months after we moved into our townhome, the one next to us sold. The occupants are very nice, but we can hear LOUD snoring and talking through the wall in our master bedroom every night. It is impossible to sleep when this is going on. The sounds coming through the wall are worse than a cheap motel. Talbitzaer says that no one else has complained about this. We have challenged them to spend one night in our bedroom and see how they like it! They said they would fix the problem if we would pay for ALL the materials AND labor. My husband and I believe this loud noise between the units is due to poor construction of our unit and should not be our responsibility. We even agreed to pay for the materials if they would do the labor, but they refused. We want any perspective buyers to know that if they have any MAJOR problems, Talbitzer will, most likely, refuse to fix them.\r With so many choices in the housing market, we highly recommend looking elsewhere for a good quality townhome!\r
