I went in to have an old family photo of my great grandmother as a ballet dancer copied and enlarged. (The photo is about 100 years old). The nice man working there said he'd have to ask the manager since it's signed at the bottom. He came back and told me I had to sign a waiver saying I take copyright repsonsibilites. Right as he said this, the RUDE manager came over and told me I'd be sued for $10,000 for copyright infringement!!!! I told her it was about 100 years old, and I don't think the photographer is ever still alive. She then got in my face and told me that it is still in effect 75 years after the photographer dies!!! Then she said, no, she didn't feel ""comfortable"" copying my photo.\r This photo is a family heirloom and I was in no way trying to make money off of it, only to enlarge it and frame it. The manager made me feel like a criminal. I think she had some personal issues and perhaps insecure and not happy with her station in life compared to mine. Pros: nearby Cons: rude manager!
