My family and I have been going to Don and his family business for at least 15 years (if you recall, he originally was on 7th street in downtown ROA) and have zero complaints. Don is the fairest mechanic in the valley when it comes to diagnosing legitimate problems with your car and the associated labor costs. The detail in his work is text-book specific, and if Don can't do a job, he finds a specialty shop of equal quality (I needed a new custom exhaust that went to a specialty shop). Most minor repairs (ignition coils, power window components, brake pads/shoes) take only that day to complete if you drop off early, possibly an extra day for parts delivery. Overall, Don is a great guy and even better mechanic; you won't be disappointed with his work.
