Review content:
We lived here for a couple of years and would never have moved out if I wasn't offered a great position back east. The owners were a very nice couple (not impersonal property managers) who took wonderful care of the property. We loved our neighbors - a few couples with young kids, one senior citizen, and some students at the seminary school which is about 2 miles away. Everyone spoke English and were friendly, which is getting rare for North County.
This property is gated (the gate actually works!) and we felt very safe (both our cars and our apartment). Hale Avenue is a quiet little retreat in Escondido, and we never heard about any crime while we were there. We used to walk across the street to Albertons for groceries. We loved it and would never have moved if it weren't for the job relocation. 5 Stars!
Pros: Large Bedrooms, Central Air, Friendly Quiet Neighbors
