Review content:
Alright, I confess. I first went into this place on a lark, passing it while coming home from work because I'm too damn lazy to cook for our household. So I walk in this place and, lo and behold, I'm not given the bums rush treatment in getting a to go order. The nice woman at the counter was very helpful in recommendations, and asked me to have a seat while it took a grand total of about ten minutes for the somewhat large order. Fast. While I waited, I got to watch some Thai TV on a big monitor by the cash register. Oh yes, I got to commune with the big ol' fish in the central tank too. By the way, please enlarge that thing a bit...the largest fish doesn't even look like it can turn around! Anyway, I get my order in record time, didn't break my bank, and when we got into eating at home, it was AMAZING. The Tom Kha ( a favorite of ours) is simply the best in town. Later in the month, we decided to eat on premises, and weren't disappointed. I dont care if the place is located in a strip mall. The food was superb as usual, and the owner came out to our table a few times just to check on us. Now seriously, where do you get that kind of food and service in the valley? So get down there right away, before the place becomes a cult favorite and you aren't even able to get a table.
Pros: Food, Service, Ambience (gee isn't that everything that counts?)
Cons: Bigger tank, or smaller fish PLEASE! (It's cruel)
