Review content:
Since the opening of Angelo's Picnic Pizza, this has been one of my favorite restaurants, but no longer. Now there's no table service; you have to order at the counter and then try to listen for them to yell out your name. The food's still okay, but the restaurant is too loud and unpleasant to be enjoyable. Now it's just another takeout pizza place and there are a few dozen of them in Nashville--and most of them make home deliveries, which Picnic Pizza does not! Plus, getting in and out of their parking lot is crazy now that people are just trying to ""run in"" the front door and pick up an order. How I miss the good ole' days when our favorite server greeted us by name and started filling our drink orders before we ever got seated (she knew us that well!) I'm afraid they've ruined a really wonderful little family restaurant.
Pros: Food still okay, but I hate the changes
Cons: No more table service; just another takeout pizza place
