Review content:
The staff of the resource center are abusive. I have realized no benificial help from these people. I asked for help and got a ""I don't care what you want"" attitude. They provide a laundry service for those who need the service. I used the service and lost some things. I was told, "" That is the price you pay for putting your laundry in a community wash."". I was not allowed to look around for my things. The attendant Martin Lawrence slammed the door in my face and let me know I was not worth his time. There can be a system put into place top solve this problem. \r \r Two other patrons, who are Black, washed twice the limit of eight items and did not loose any items. He made sure they got there property back. Mine however was everywhere but in my posession.\r \r I was treated like I was not worth the time to be considered a human beeing. Being treated with respect is something that is not part of the order of things at the Dallas Day Resource Center. I hate to be one that is not color blind. But under the circumstances I find no other attitude fits. Being homeless is a crime in Dallas. The resource center lets you know with out a doubt. While the policemake sure you know that you are less than desireable. Not deserving of anything much less respect. They are geared to keep you homeless in Dallas.
