I have taken classes at Sundance for years, but in the last few, most of my experience has been with the Mommy N Me and prenatal yoga classes. Valerie, owner and instructor, starts each class with her calm, soothing voice, inducing an overall calm and relaxed manner in me. She is extremely knowledgeable in how the body works, and this knowledge extends to the prenatal and postnatal body. She knows just how to help the pregnant mama move safely in each trimester, and helps the postnatal mama to start regaining flexibility. Valerie is also very in tune with what each individual woman in the class needs and will often switch the focus of the class from what she planned to what we need. She is a talented and intuitive teacher. I've had the pleasure of taking classes from a few of her instructors. All have different strengths to bring to the table, yet there is a feeling of knowledge. They have knowledge to impart, these ladies, and their teaching reflects that.
