Review content:
We wouldn't go back here anyway because we weren't impressed with their food, but after the experience we've got at the end - we will never go back for sure.
We had a coupon from Eversave for that place. We wanted Dim Sum, but it was not covered by coupon, so no problem, we ordered from the regular menu.
When it was a time to pay we presented a iPhone Apps coupon as we always do in absolutely every restaurants and stores... just to figure out that they have no idea what to do with it and only except coupons printed on paper. Common... it is 2012 and we live in MA! They suggested us to go and look for a printer in the nearest stores since they don't have their own printer(and of cause everything around them were closed) or pay the whole price and come again tomorrow to use our coupon since it expires in 2 days.
So we end up ordering not what we wanted and after long conversation with a manager, paying extra $20 for it, because she refused to use a bar code number from iPhone apps. If you can't screen it, just write it down, like every other place does. People don't print and carry with them paper coupons the size of 11 format any more. It's inconvenient and plus... aren't we saving trees and going green?
I go to the restaurants very often, also I asked my friends and it looks like China Pearl is the only resonant in Boston area which doesn't work with smart phones coupons.
Would be nice if they would at list suggest free dessert or something, but they behaved like it was totally our fault.
