Review content:
I went to Dr. Youngkin at the rec of a nationally known Obgyn who Dr. Youngkin worked with when he was young and who is now retired. This Dr told me that Youngkin is ""who he would send his wife to."" (I went to get a 2nd opinion because another HIGHLY popular Dr in Austin demanded I have surgery asap but my parents (I was 26) thought I should get a 2nd opinion.) My parents knew the nationally known Dr personally and connected me with him for a referral. Dr Youngkin was able to CORRECTLY diagnose me and fix my issues completely with a $30 prescription and NO surgery! I am an attorney and I have since learned that 2 of my friends who had serious infertility problems (one for 4 years) were finally able to have kids with Dr. Youngkin's help. This is the best Obgyn in Austin. He is well-respected in the medical community and is the BEST. He can be a little clinical--but, if something goes wrong--who do you want: the guy who makes you feel good or the guy who has the best expertise and can fix it? Dr. Youngkin is compassionate too---he is just so smart sometimes I think he has trouble relating that. I quizzed him HARD on the latest science on some of my personal issues and he was well-read and up-to-date. This is a Dr who knows his stuff. Take it from me-- this is the Dr that the people who ""know"" go to. I have heard it from a doctor, a nurse, a fellow barrister and several other people. Pros: Expertise, Wonderful Staff Cons: a little clinical
