I am a HUGE fan of family operated businesses in the DMV. Having grown up with a family business I fully support mom and pop shops. Goodys is a hidden, but unforgettable establishment right beside the Clarendon metro that has been servicing locals for years. The Greek family that owns this operation always welcome their customers with a smile and plenty of delicious food to share. While working in Arlington I frequently visited Goodys for a slice (or two) of their fresh pizza. Add a greek salad or ice cream to your order and you have an inexpensive meal that you will rave about for days. Trust me, Goodys is so GOOD, even the cast of the Real World stopped there after partying at Clarendon Grill. Don't be discouraged by the exterior of the building, I will admit it is along side of a few run down store fronts and doesn't offer much for seating, but Goodys definitely lives up to its name when it comes to the food and service! Stop in for a slice and say hello to the owners! Pros: Family operated, inexpensive, delicious pizza Cons: Only really good for take out orders
