Three things: 1) Our server Josh, was great. 2) We used a Twongo coupon. The restaurant did not honor the terms of the coupon. We didn't find out about this until halfway through the meal. 3) The food is not good. The seasoning is minimal, the chicken on my dish was not integral to the dish, it was like a garnish (and the dish was chicken rustica!) and the sauce had little flavor unless you bit into a chunk of garlic. The bread was below average and the salad was a disgrace! Iceberg lettuce and some tastekess grated cheese? Come on people, it's 2010, we don't do that any more! The other dish was a shrimp dish and I fear that it was past it's optimal serve date, as it smelled very bad. The owner and/or chef never came by to check on us, although the service was good our water was never refilled and it was rather expensive. Very expensive considering the poor quality of the food. There are too many good choices for Italian food to have to suffer through this. For instance, Daniel's is just down the road and is 100 times better. WIthin walking distance is Carrabba's which is consistently above average and even though it's a chain, at least they care about what they serve you. Oh - and we were both sick the following day. Coincidence?
