I'm in Long Beach Ca and I found this company as Sunshine Movers (found later it is Orange County Movers, the charge to my credit card is from this company), called, talked to a nice guy and set up the move. The two movers showed up on time and started to load. They moved fairly slow and by the time we got to the new location, moved even slower having to move up the stairs. They used NO padding on my furniture and only wrapped up two items. They damaged my bookcase because they didn't measure if it would make it in the stairwell. They damaged my wall, my floor in several places, and several pieces of my furniture. They left dirt all over my mattress, a long with four dirty hand prints. One of the guys started bad mouthing my items while finishing the move, then when I was brought the bill, I pointed out the damages they caused. At this point he started yelling at me. The people in the surrounding businesses had to come out and ask this muscled up guy to stop yelling at me, a 5'2"" 120 pound female. He yelled more. What does 7 hours of slow labor, damaged furniture, and getting yelled at cost? $788.00. The neighbors complained to his boss, I complained, they said they would take money off the bill. When asked about the damages, I was told he would take it to the Owner and get back with me the next day. He has not gotten back with me, and there was no credit to my bill made.
