Review content:
I don't usually write a review for a restaurant, but I have to for the Capital Grille. We celebrated our 1st anniversary last night at the CG and I could not have planned a better evening. Not only was the service on par with the best restaurants around, they went above and beyond to make the evening special. First, we were taken to a table sprinkled with red rose petals and a personalized card from the staff. Our server Chris was very helpful in suggesting wines that my wife and I both really enjoyed, not to mention giving us a couple samples of a couple different drinks. I ordered the Kona crusted sirloin and it was maybe the best ""specialty"" steak I've ever had, as was the au gratin potatoes that Chris recommended. For dessert they surprised us with a complimentary dessert and drinks, with ""happy anniversary"" written in chocolate on the serving platter. To top it off, Chris took our picture, printed it out on photo paper, stuck it in a CG card and gave it to us as a keepsake of the evening. \r \r My wife now considers Capital Grille the most romantic place to dine. Sorry Eddie Merlot. Capital Grille has become our official special occasion place. For the first time, I felt like a fine dining establishment genuinely valued our business. Great food, great service, can't miss. Pros: Food, service, attention to detail, ambience Cons: non really, and i wouldn't hide it
