Businiess name:  LBS Financial Credit Union
Review by:  Edward K.
Review content:
I belong to a federal credit union in LA, but there isn't a branch near me in Long Beach. The LBS credit union on 10th is the closest federal credit union to me, and federal credit unions are supposed to provide some of the same services to members of other credit unions. LBS will do this as the law mandates it, but there is always some kind of a hassle about it. They almost invariably want to put a hold on the checks I present for deposit, even when they are payroll checks and/or are for small amounts. The branch on Atlantic and San Antonio is better, but by that point I may as well go to downtown LA. Actually, most of the time it is ends up being easier to go to my home agency 30 miles away rather than deal with this sourpuss institution down the street from me.
