Review content:
On March 21, 2009. I visited Citgo Express Lube 3227 Beach Blvd Jacksonville, FL 32207 to conduct an oil change. I observed the mechanics as they overlooked my vehicle they discovered that the air filter needed to be changed but as they approached me to asked the question if I would like to replace it. The mechanic ripped off the plastic frame on the outter part of the filter. When I asked. I stated ""How much is it?"" ""Have no choice since you ripped off the plastic."" The mechanic chuckled and said. ""Yeah right! it is $19.99 but today $14.99"" I continued to watch as they continuted the oil change. They completed the work in less than 15mins. When the car was finished the cashier approched me for payment. I paid in full and upon receiving my change the mechanic rushed in and said "" Oh I think we f%#@ up!!!!"" I looked out and when they pulled my car out the work bay 3 quarts of oil drained out from under the car. They pulled the car back in the bay and hurried to fix it so on lookers would not see the faulty work. I stated to the manager that I would like a refund on the oil change but will pay for the air filter. The manager stated the work was complete and paid for. I told him I have not sign the reciept and it states below that any faulty or damaged work should be addressed with the mananger for a refund. He refused since I already paid. But I also stated that the car was not even pulled out of the work bay before I even paid. What if it would have happened down the street and I did not even know it. He still refused. So I asked him if had a corporate number. He told me that he was corporate and if I wanted his cell phone number. I told him that wouldn't be any use to me. He said "" I know you can just google it. I was applaud by his comments and insulting remarks. The mechanics were making jokes saying that I needed to grow up. I told them that they should remain professsional and that I only asked for a phone number so who should grow up. I was tired of the insults and disrespect so I departed from the shop. I reviewed the unsigned receipt and they still charged me $19.99 instead of $14.99 on the receipt. Please check to see if all mechanics are certified
Cons: WILL BREAK PARTS TO GAIN MONEY
