DJ Electrical Services, owned by Marius Michael, is an unethical and irresponsible company that should not be trusted. Over two years ago, I hired DJ Electrical Services to fix some dimming and surging we were experiencing in our newly purchased home. Mr. Michael assessed the situation and determined that we needed to replace the electrical box inside and outside. We made the mistake of paying up front. DJ Electrical Services installed the new boxes and did not resolve the problem! When the inspector came, he told us that the outside box was not installed to code and a junction box in the basement was overloaded and not up to code. Both were potential fire hazards. Furthermore, DJ Electrical Services had disconnected the main power outside without obtaining approval from the power company. We hired a different electrician to fix all the problems. When we confronted Mr. Michael about the poor and dangerous quality of his work, he agreed to pay us back the $1500 we had paid him. Subsequently, he stopped returning our calls and never paid us. We sued him in small claims court and won by default because he didn't show up. We are still trying to collect the debt he owes us. Do not allow DJ Electrical Services or Mr. Marius Michael to work on your property! They are not to be trusted!
