Review content:
I highly recommend the Inn at Packers Falls. Marilyn provides a truly warm and friendly atmosphere. The 200+ year old house has a personality of its own and Marilyn and her family have lavished it with loving kindness and maintained its historical integrity, while providing the necessities for the modern traveler. I enjoyed learing the history of the house and hearing the stories of additions and the former ""keepers"" of this beautiful property. Breakfast every morning was yummy, healthy, and satisfying. The rural setting is soooo relaxing and the ""front"" porch offers a lovely view of the property and a quiet place to read. I enjoyed meeting Professor Dewey (Marilyn's very dapper father) and ""Mr. Purrfect"" (her beautiful tuxedo cat). This was my first trip to New England but I hope to return again soon and will certainly stay at this inn again. Pros: quiet, comfortable, A+ service Cons: probably not suitable for children or for someone looking for modern hotel accommodations
