As a journalist who travels around the country (and occasionally to foreign countries), I have had the chance to try a wide range of Indian food restauarants. I can tell you that the food at Jewel of India is not only authentic - but simply superb! I usually eat dinner there and on a rare occasion have the lunch buffet. Dinner is fantastic! The lunch buffet is also very good. I recommend the Chicken Ticca Masala and the Saag is also great! The service is excellent and the decor is very pleasant. The management takes care to make sure the buffet is stocked and fresh. At dinner, the staff and management do an excellent job of making sure your dining experience is what you hope for. I have never been disappointed with a meal from Jewel of India.... as for the one and only one poor review I have read here, it sounds like it was written from a competing restaurant! Because, unless there is an alternate universe somewhere, I have never had an experience even somewhat resembling what this person has written and I have eaten at Jewel of India NUMEROUS times... Go there, eat, and enjoy!!!
