Review content:
When I chose and purchaed my dress in March, I wanted to place the order for my shoes. It was a very busy Saturday for them and I had taken more than the usual amount of time to choose my dress. Perhaps that is why my House of Fashion consultant brushed me off and said to order my shoes when I had my fitting: Don't worry! It'll be okay, she said! I really wanted it done and taken care of, but I decided to leave myself in the hands of the experts. I ordered my shoes at my first fitting, only to receive a message saying that they were backordered and the manufacturer would not have anymore until after my wedding. House of Fashion suggested everything from white shoes to go with my ivory dress or a different size. If they really took care of their customers, they would have called other bridal shops in Sacramento on my behalf to try to find an available, new pair, but the issue didn't seem to be important to them at all. They had me over a barrell -- alterations had been done based on these shoes and a week and a half prior to my wedding I simply did not have time to run around Sacramento to look for new ones. They cleaned up the sample pair (ivory and in my size) -- and they discounted them -- but, I must say, these are very shabby shoes for $50 and who wants to wear shabby shoes on their wedding day at any price? Be careful if you choose House of Fashion: you'll have to look after yourself, despite all their pacifying words.
