Review content:
Nearly 14 years ago we purchased a new home in Los Flores Canyon, which was beautifully designed by Michael Torrey of Avalon Construction Corp, a Malibu Construction and Design company. Besides the unbelievably stunning hardwood floors, slate counters with accents, stone and limestone showers with spa tub, suspended shelves that literally float in the air – what most impressed us was Michael’s eye for space. He masterfully designed a home with virtually no sharp right angles, which creates the sensation of space and openness. The entire home captures the surrounding nature and its light within the architectural open space – a place you want to spend time in, enjoy, and call home. High ceilings with a glass atrium roof crown our home nestled above Las Flores Creek in an idyllic setting – which Michael’s handicraft and aesthetic eye accentuate the surroundings. The home has been virtually fault free all these years.
