I would definitely look elsewhere when looking to rent. Cedar West is a despicable company. When my family and I moved into one of their rentals it was left a mess, dirty window seals, the kitchen cabinets were filthy and sticky, the garage was left with tons of cob webs, and the yards had a layer of pine needles all over them. We pointed this out while moving in, Richard (the owner of Cedar West) told us that they expected us to leave us the house the way we got it. As we got out of our lease because of black mold in the bathroom caused by a leaky faucet that there maintenance man fixed 8 times before it was truly fixed. They then just painted over the mold to hide it. When we moved out we cleaned that place to a higher standard then when we got there. On the pre walk through everything was ok. Two weeks later when we did the final walk through there was a whole list of things that were not to their standards all of a sudden. Richard was not available for either of these walk-throughs. The gentleman who did do the walk through had no idea of how the place looked when we got there or even a list of what was wrong with stuff moved in. After cleaning that house for two day and having the carpets clean by professionals , I was charged for twelve hours of cleaning at $10 an hour and included vacuuming. but the kicker was that I was charged for power washing the garage door, no one ever mentioned the garage door and we lived there for six months. After all these I called them to discuss these issues and Richard tells me it's just a matter of opinion. I say go use someone else.
