Review content:
It's a tragedy that this Amador County institution is way past it's glory days. I used to eat here every time I visited, but the last three times the food has been sub-standard at best. In the past two years I have tried ravioli, fettuccine Alfredo, and basic spaghetti, and was disappointed all the way around. I fail to see how they can go wrong, but everything was tasteless. I've been making Italian food all my life, and no cuisine could be easier to prepare! The ambiance is fantastic though, I like to eat in the bar area where all the regulars sit. With the exception of the bartender, the service is great as well. If you want really great Italian food make it at home, but if you want mediocre Italian food served by friendly servers in a welcoming atmosphere, go to Theresa's.
