Review content:
I've only been here once, but I was not too dazzled with my experience at Z'Tejas. I ordered a chicken club sandwich and was faced with the classic sandwich dilemma: way too much of the makings and not enough bread to accommodate it. Because of this, it was really awkward to eat my sandwich without having it spill all over me ... When my server came by to ask ""how we were doing,"" I told him that my sandwich was falling apart. His response to this was: ""Oh ..."" And then he gave me a hapless look and walked away! Maybe he was caught off guard to hear a negative response to what is probably a question he asks about thirty times a day, but still, I found his lack of willingness to fix my meal very irritating. For an ""upper-scale"" restaurant, he came across as being very unprofessional and rude. It seemed the least he could've done was offer more bread for my $8+ sandwich. Overall, the ambiance was decent enough, and the food so-so, but it's really the service that compels me to give Z'Tejas a poor review.
Pros: good for groups
Cons: service!, so-so tex-mex food
