""Suburban Trendy"" means cutting-edge for family-men and -women:) Most people will like the atmosphere, and the food is interesting and fun. The chef is careful not to offend pallates (just like suburbia -- safe!) by serving anything with any kick to it on the side. Hey, at least they are brave enough to go there! Bravo! (Take note of the tasty seafood skillet dumplings, served with spicy sauce on the side). Skip the bland nachos, go directly to the house margaurita (stiff and interesting blend) and expect emphasis on southwestern food. Don't let the name ""Tejas""fool you -- very few signs of real Texas food here -- but don't let that take you away from some southwestern treats to be savored. PS -- I came here with a pre-arranged group of more than 20, and the service was fabulous. This place is well-managed and therefore, great for groups! Pros: great service, good, creative SW foo Cons: no Tex Mex here
