I came upon Joe Hassan's by accident. I do not live in Lodi, but I work in the city Monday through Friday. I was in need of some jeans, and I stumbled upon Mr. Hassan's establishment. I have very little sense of adventure when it comes to jeans, and honestly I thought my visit to Hassan's was in vain. I was wrong! I found my regular brand and another that I had given up trying to find. In addition (I found this out later) I had the privelege of being waited on by Mr Hassan himself! I found him to be most helpful and let me tell you, this man knows his jeans(He has been selling them for 48 years). He was most helpful, allowng me to tr them on all the while bringin additional styles and sizes until I found what I wanted. Mr. Hassan rang me up, but he also spent some time sharing his history with me; history that I was more than eager to listen to.. I left the store feeling like I had been a customer for years. Upon completion of my purchase, he shook my hand and asked my name. I have a feeling (after watching him interact with his customers) he is going to remember me the next time I am there. I appreciate the old fashioned service and friendly atmosphere offered by places such as Mr. Hassan's store. Of course we can spend our money at the mall, but I guarantee you will have a much better experience at this little gem in Lodi. Prices are great and selection is awesome.
