Review content:
They're nice guys, I'll give 'em that----I always like it when the person up front is conversational and pleasant. Unlike a lot of these quicky-lubes, no one came out and suggested an emergency oil- or air-filter upgrade, which I also liked. However, the next day, we had oil on our garage floor--my vehicle had never leaked previous to its oil change at Speede Lube. Took it close by, where an improperly reinstalled oil plug was found and corrected. Just a couple days later, I was called to the upper midwest where my mother had suffered a medical emergency. I drove into snow and freezing temps, which we hadn't had here yet. It was when I needed my washer fluid most that I found it had been more than likely topped off with plain water rather than using fluid with antifreeze. The sloppier the weather got, the smearier my windshield became. At first, I suspected the washer pump motor, because my receipt says Speede Lube added fluid. The last thing I needed to worry about was not being able to see to drive, while our family worked through our crisis. When I finally was able to drive south, as the air became warmer, my washer fluid thawed and squirted out just fine. Had I not driven into below freezing temps, I might never have known that Speede Lube topped me off with something that would freeze. That's kinda stinky if you ask me.
