I had my braces as an adult. Its been some years since I've been here, but I wanted to make known my bad experience with this place. Dr. Kardaris tries to be an orthodontist, and shes not. She sold me these contraptions to put in my mouth because she said before getting braces I needed these cause my mouth is not wide, then she planned on selling me braces, then invisalign. She has no clue what shes doing. I couldn't even eat right with these permanent contraptions in my mouth. She doesn't know how to do braces, she only changed my bands and never my wires. I went and got a 2nd opinion one day and he immediately took the contraption out of my mouth and said theres no reason for you to have this. My teeth didn't move at all the whole 9 mos I had braces with her cause she never changed the wires. He also said she used the cheapest materials, so I decided to end services here and go to this new guy. He completely redid all of her work. Also it was completely painful everytime my bands were changed here and it took an hour or more. At my new orthodontist it was a piece of cake, no pain and only 10 minutes! I had paid her up front and my new orthodontist fought for me to get my money back, and he did get her to give me the majority of it so obviously she knew she was wrong. This guy even charged me about a 1/4th of the price as Dr. Kardaris did. Due to him having to correct her mistakes I had to wear braces nearly double the time I would've had to if I had just went to him 1st and I didn't need invisalign after the braces. Getting cleanings here was even awful complete pain and bleeding, but I do not experience this at my new dentist. She also pulled a tooth of mine and broke it in the process and had to basically dig the rest out, real nice. This office is a joke. No experience and tries to sell you everything you don't need!
