I completely agree with the previous complaint and then some. I've sold a few things to this place and each time I felt shammed. The only optimism I felt was now having more money in my pocket than I originally started with. I should have learned my lesson the 1st time. You will not get a good price for anything that you sell here, at least I haven't. I've sold high end instruments here as well as other high end products, which would not be taking up shelf space for longer than 2 weeks tops. Therefore dealing with my items was a low risk/high return investment. What I got was about 15-20% of the total price I paid(shame on me). I later seen my item priced at almost the same price I originally paid for it! All I'm meaning to say is that they could have given me what I asked for and still made out with a huge return, at the same time satisfying their customer(me). In more positive experiences at pawn stores I've typically received 25-40% of the fair market value for higher end used items. 25-40% seems to me like the used merchandise standard in Buffalo if you have some good stuff. If you want the most amount for your item go to place which specifically deals with that particular item, or craigslist or ebay. I found guitar center is great for musical instrument if you want to get rid of something lickity split. I sold a Seagul S-6 acoustic which is going for $300 brand new to guitar center and got $120. Cash and Go Pawn will not give you the best price. You'll understand what I mean when you see their place of business and management team. And if you do go there and get ripped off don't say I didn't warn you.
