Review content:
Eugenios pizzas are a perfect lunch. The crust is very thin and crispy. There is no tomato sauce, which in this case is good. Everything is very fresh and the meats and cheeses are of obvious high quality. One of my favorite pizzas is the Provenzano (mozzarella, onion, olives, garlic, pepperoni, parmesan, and goat cheese), but I have tried all of the other ones and they are all fabulous. It's not just the exquisite combinations, it's the freshness and quality of the ingredients. The last time I was there, my partner ordered the meatball sandwich and liked it a lot. It is smothered with tomato sauce and the meatballs were spicy and flavorful. It's been a long time since I have ordered one of Eugenios other sandwiches. When i did, it was served on Grand Central Bakery bread, which is a little too chewy for me. I get cravings for Eugenios pizza, where nothing else will do, but there is another reason I keep going back here. Eugenios has a very special feel to it. I don't think you could call it ambiance exactly, but the atmosphere is very friendly and relaxed. I feel like I'm eating at a friend's house and that my food is prepared with love. It may sound hokey, but stop by for lunch and you'll se what I mean.
Pros: Great food in a casual and friendly setting
Cons: Limited seating
